About K12worX Education
A 501(c)(3) public charity running four programs that expand math access for K-12 students.
Mission
To close the K-12 math opportunity gap. We combine scalable instructional content with human mentorship so that foundational math learning is accessible to every child.
Origin
K12worX Education was founded in October 2025 and received 501(c)(3) determination from the IRS in November 2025. The organization grew out of a youth-led tutoring program, the K12worX Learning Jamboree, and was deliberately scoped as an umbrella entity so that complementary K-12 math programs could share governance, infrastructure, and a single tax-deductible donor surface.
We are headquartered in Los Gatos, California, operate under a volunteer Board of Directors, and report annually to the IRS and the California Attorney General’s Registry of Charitable Trusts.
What we do
We run four programs, each targeting a different gap in K-12 math education:
- Jamboree — A youth participation program — student leaders deliver tutoring and mentoring to underserved K-12 communities.
- Special Needs Math — A free 8-week math program for K-6 children with special needs, delivered to families directly and through partner organizations.
- K12 Video Lessons — Free K-12 math video lessons — guided, self-paced, with practice built in.
- Young AI Builders — High-school students build practical, AI-amplified education tools — and prove them by real use in real classrooms.
Team and governance
The organization is governed by a Board of Directors and operated by volunteers and program leads. Director biographies, bylaws summary, and public disclosures are on the Governance page.
